HipBar deal out discounts with Talon.One

HipBar is a mobile platform used to locate, gift or pay for alcoholic drinks. Their vision was to create a safer, more transparent way to drink in India. 100% cashless, and with hassle-free purchases from trusted suppliers.
HipBar had an old system in place to deploy promotions which was tedious and time-consuming for their developers as it was based on a legacy code that required hard coding every time they wanted to launch a new campaign.
They needed an infrastructure for their promotions that could handle secure, dynamic discounts made via their in-house webshop system.
In addition, there were also many last-minute changes being made due to market competition and very time-sensitive sales activities which needed to be facilitated.

Product Operations at HipBar
Working with Talon.One’s dedicated Integration Engineer, the HipBar team started by integrating their user behaviour and user profile data.
This meant they could apply discounts and trigger messages based on very specific customer interactions.
An important part of their promotions involved creating local time attributes for their delayed reward campaigns and to protect customer data, used anonymous hashed values.
