Nana direct use Talon.One as part of ambitious growth strategy
BERLIN, 01. June 2022: Nana, one of the largest digital grocery shopping platforms in Saudi Arabia, is integrating Talon.One’s Promotion Engine to optimize personalized marketing promotions for 1.8 Million customers in the Middle East and Egypt.
Customers buy groceries online through the Nana App, which are then delivered right to their doorsteps. They can pay via cash or online during the purchase process, schedule their orders to prepare baskets, and choose their delivery time and date.
Founded in 2016, Nana is based in Riyadh and provides a range of 22.000 products. Since experiencing significant growth, the company plans to expand to other regions.
In order to sustain their ambitious growth plans, they needed a scalable promotional system that can provide personalized solutions for end-users and optimize the efficiency of marketing and technological resources.
Before selecting Talon.One, the Nana team relied heavily on manual, time-consuming processes in setting up in-house promotions, vouchers, discounts, and strike-through pricing. Very soon they faced many pain points with a self-built promotional technology solution that could not be used for personalized promotions.
Talon.One will help Nana to apply discounts to specific items, as well as reach the right customers with the correct products. These promotional automated actions will initially target churning clients and eventually increase the range of promotion types over time. The goal is to reduce acquisition costs by 30% with referrals and to increase shoppers' loyalty across the Middle East. With Talon.One, the Nana team will reduce manual workload.
