Today, I’m proud to announce a major milestone in that mission: the official integration between Talon.One and Shopify.

Talon.One has partnered with Shopify to become the only enterprise-grade promotions and loyalty engine integrated with the commerce platform, and the only incentives provider to be awarded Premier Partner status by Shopify.

The partnership unlocks next-generation loyalty and incentive capabilities for global brands—combining Shopify’s powerful commerce platform with Talon.One’s flexible, rule-based engine. We enable personalized, advanced promotions on Shopify that adapt to customer behavior in real time—driving higher AOV, better margins, and seamless integration of cart promotions and loyalty, all while reducing total cost of ownership.

Shopify & Talon.One: How the integration works

Historically, Shopify’s native promotions tools were built for speed and simplicity—perfect for fast-growing brands, but limiting for enterprise retailers needing flexibility and personalized incentives. Many large brands on Shopify had to sacrifice promotional depth and segmentation to maintain operational agility in a fast-changing market.

With this new integration, Shopify Enterprise merchants gain access to over 30 incentive tools—including personalized, behavior-driven offers, gamified rewards, and multi-market loyalty programs— allowing them to go beyond basic discount codes and earn and burn loyalty programs. Instead of falling into race-to-the-bottom price cuts, they can reward high-value actions that actually drive real behavior change: from repeat purchases to increased AOV. 

By leveraging extensibility features available to merchants on Shopify's Enterprise Plan, Talon.One connects directly to the checkout flow—enabling real-time application of promotions and loyalty rewards without compromising speed or reliability.

This API-level integration ensures that incentives are evaluated and applied instantly, based on live cart data, customer behavior, and pre-defined rules—no custom workarounds or middleware required.

From limitation to transformation: What changes with the integration

3. Promotion confusion at checkout

Before the integration: A fashion retailer launches a seasonal “Spend $150, get $10 off” campaign—but customers are unsure whether they’ve qualified, and the discount only appears during checkout. Confused and unsure, many drop off before completing their purchase.

After the integration: Now, the same campaign is powered by Talon.One within the buying journey. As customers approach the $150 threshold, a prompt appears in the checkout page—“Spend $15 more to unlock $10 off” Once they qualify, the cart updates instantly with a clear message: “You’ve unlocked $10 off!”. It nudges customers to complete their purchase, builds trust, and reduces cart abandonment.
